Sound Publishing is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Marcum as Regional Manager of Nickel Ads for Portland, Oregon and SW Washington publications. Bill will begin his duties
on Tuesday, August 10, 2010.
Bill has twenty-nine years in the newspaper business as an advertising director and publisher. He was with the Natt family for sixteen of the past eighteen years as Director of Advertising in Longview, WA and Publisher of the Enumclaw Courier-Herald. In 2003 he started the Bonney Lake Courier-Herald in Bonney Lake, WA. Bill has been part of the Sound Publishing family since the purchase of the Courier-Herald newspapers in June of 2008.
He has served as President of Washington Newspaper Publishers Association and the Pacific Northwest Newspaper Advertising Executive Association. He has been a Rotarian for twenty-five years and served in various capacities within other community service organizations.
