Josh O'Connor named Vice President of East Sound Operations

Sound Publishing President Manfred Tempelmayr has announced the appointment of Josh O’Connor as Vice President of East Sound Newspaper Operations. O’Connor will assume this post on June 1st and will work out of the Bellevue Reporter office. He will oversee the Reporter newspaper group and the Marysville/Arlington newspaper group. When Sound completes the acquisition of the Enumclaw Courier Herald and the Bonney Lake Courier Herald in the next week he will assume responsibility for those newspapers.
O’Connor has been with Black Press Ltd, the parent company of Sound Publishing, for the past ten years and has extensive experience in advertising, marketing and communications in the print industry. He was most recently Publisher of the Abbotsford News and Mission Record and had operational responsibilities for the Abbotsford Press Center. The Abbotsford News is the one of the largest newspapers within the Black Press organization. His past experience includes Sales Manager at the Richmond Review and Automotive Sales Manager at the Honolulu Star-Bulletin. He holds degrees in Marketing, Communications, and Executive Management.
O’Connor enjoys contributing within his community and has held several positions with non-profit associations.
