Vice President of West Sound Operations Lori Maxim is pleased to announce the appointment of Randy Phillips as Publisher of Nickel Ads effectively immediately. Randy will oversee operations of our Oregon and Southwest Washington Nickel publications.
As part of this change, the Thurston County Nickel operation will now be under the management of Lynette Portello,
Phillips brings a wealth of newspaper, management and sales experience to his new role. For the past ten years, he has acted in several capacities at Nickel Ads, including Advertising Director and most recently Circulation Manager. Phillips’ prior jobs included three years as Sales Manager for Puget Sound Truck Lines and eight years with Trader (now Dominion) as General Manager for Oregon. He is a native of Portland, Oregon, attended Oregon State University on a Baseball scholarship and graduated with a degree in Political Science from Portland State. His wife Cheri owns CPA Accounting of Oregon and they have two sons: Tyler (17) and Jake (13).
