Ethnic marketing is an important topic for managers in the United States. The Russian-speaking community is one of the fastest growing markets in this country. Based on Census Statistics 2000, there are over 5 million Russian-speakers living in the United States today. In Washington State, there are more than 200,000 people from this ethnic group and this population is rapidly growing at around 10,000 people a year.
