In an effort to help military children understand their parents’ role as a Sailor in the U.S. Navy, the Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC) in conjunction with Child and Youth Programs (CYP) will host Kid’s Camp Deployment for dependents ages 8-12 or first through sixth grade, April 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Camp activities will include morning physical training (PT), static military displays, small group demonstrations, and a mock deployment aboard a U.S. Navy or Coast Guard vessel.

During the mock deployment, campers will tour the ship. The event will culminate with a return and reunion for the children on the pier.
