Marketing Coordinator (Everett, WA)

The primary function of the Marketing Coordinator is to effectively manage marketing sales programs as directed by the Director of Audience Development for The Daily Herald and all Sound Publications. You will manage the print, direct mail, email, telemarketing, programmatic and social media to grow print and digital subscriptions. Use multivariant testing to determine the best art, offers, database segments that yield the best ROI.

Your marketing background should have strong customer service, organizational, and analytical skills; excellent phone, data entry, verbal, and strong written communication skills. Experience creating campaigns from an email marketing database like SalesForce, Hubspot, or WhatCounts is a plus. Knowledgeable about building customer journeys from transactional experiences.  Must be able to work effectively across multiple departments within the organization including Circulation, Newsroom, and Advertising. Must possess a strong working knowledge of Excel, Word programs, and the ability to manage proprietary circulation systems.

  • Typically 40 hours per week, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm., Monday through Friday. It must be recognized that, due to the nature of this position, hours may vary in order to accomplish the required tasks and may require coming in early, staying late, or working weekends on occasion. It is critical that the person in this position be reliable.
