Andy Nystrom has been promoted to Editor of the Redmond Reporter. Nystrom will be replacing Bill Christianson on Tuesday, September 4. Sound Publishing would like to thank Bill Christianson for his years of service to Sound Publishing, Inc. and the King County Journal. We certainly wish him well with his future endeavors.

Nystrom started his journalism career in 1990, at the Los Altos Town Crier in northern California.

Nystrom lives in Seattle and has worked for the Bothell-Kenmore Reporter since its inception in 2002.

Previous to serving as editor (from 2007-2012), he wrote sports and business stories for the Bothell-Kenmore Reporter and its predecessor, the Northshore Citizen, and the Redmond Reporter and Bellevue Reporter.

He is an award-winning writer and photographer, has written for music publications, and was the Sports Ticker reporter for the former Seattle Reign American Basketball League women’s team.

He is a San Jose State University graduate.
