Minimum size: 6″ x 8″ minimum to maintain all sensor technology (double detector and miss detector). Cardstock max is 100 lb at 6″ x 8″ (if postcard type insert), larger dimensional sizing can do heavier cardstock. Can do 5″ x 7″ if cardstock is under 100 lb –no sensors though.

Maximum size:

Length – 14″. Height – 13″. Any insert not fitting in these dimensions would be required to be folded. Note that Sound papers are 10” x 20” broadsheet.

Maximum size: (after final fold) 12.5″ long (along the folded edge) 11.25″ wide (perpendicular to folded edge)

Minimum size: (after final fold) 5″ x 7″; this includes cards, envelopes, and 8″ x 10½” quarter-folded inserts. No magazine-type section should be smaller than quarter-fold (half tabloid) size. Inserts of less than 8-pages may need to be quarter-folded for insertion.

Weight: 1/4″ maximum thickness. Standard broadsheet inserts printed on 30-lb. newsprint should be limited to 96-pages. .005″ minimum thickness for single sheets/cards/envelopes. Standard broadsheet inserts printed on 30-lb. newsprint should be 4-pages minimum. Standard tabloid-page inserts printed on 30-lb. stock should be a minimum of 8-pages. Special damaged shipment handling charges may be applied to cover hand insertion and extra light or extra bulky inserts.
