The award-winning Olympic News Group has openings for general assignment reporters, based in our Port Townsend office.
Applicants must be able to work in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment, be self-motivated and resourceful, possess excellent writing skills, have knowledge of community news, and be able to write about a wide range of issues and cover multiple beats. The ideal candidate will be comfortable covering government issues, features and writing hard news stories in East Jefferson County for the Peninsula Daily News. Weekly or daily newspaper experience is preferred, although time worked on student publications and internships will be considered.
