Sound Publishing, Inc. is pleased to announce that Karen Steichen will be returning to the Seattle Weekly, as creative art director effective Feb. 18.
Karen started working for weekly newspapers at the Willamette Week in Portland. She was at the Willamette Week for five years before moving to Seattle in 1991.
She worked 14 years at Seattle Weekly as special sections ad director and eventually senior ad director.
For the last six years Karen has been a graphic designer at Collins Woerman, an architecture firm, working in their marketing department and supporting the architects with their presentation needs.
Karen said she is excited to be back in the media business.
